Biography : Ching-Liang Hsieh graduated from the School of Chinese Medicine, China Medical University (CMU), Taichung City, Taiwan, in 1978 with a Bachelor of Medicine. He is licensed in both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Currently a professor, the director of the Center for Clinical Trials in Chinese Medicine, and an attending physician at CMU Hospital in Taichung. Professor Hsieh has two PhD degrees: one from Kyushu University, Japan (1995), and one from Guangzhou Chinese Medicine University, China (2004). He was previously Vice Dean of College of Chinese Medicine, the director of the School of Chinese Medicine, Graduate Institute of Chinese Medical Science, Acupuncture Science, International Master Course of Acupuncture, Research Center for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Acupuncture Research Center at CMU; deputy superintendent at CMU Hospital; and professor at Chang Gung University. He has published more than 200 papers.
